kireevПытался найти карту человеческого роста в странах мира, но мои поиском не увенчались успехом. Возможно, тут просто дело в недостатке данных. В статье о человеческом росте в Википедии есть данные по целому ряду стран, которые я и нанес на карту, но все же остается очень много "белых пятен". Плюс, данные по странам, которые закрашены, во-первых, часто неполные, скажем, лишь по одной возрастной группе, либо разного времени (а с годами рост как правило увеличивается), в-третьих, не всегда надежные или происходят из разных источников. Но тем не менее, карта среднего роста мужчин получилась вобщем-то как правило весьма предсказуемая и, согласитесь, многие белые пятна мы могли бы закрасить сами исходя из известных нам данных. Самые высокие мужчины - в Северной Европе, самые низкие - в Индии и Юго-Восточной Африке. Латиноамериканцы как правило ниже европейцев. А вот Африка, если была бы полностью закрашена, наверное, была бы очень разной. В зависимости от этнических групп, негры там могут быть и весьма высокие, так и пигмеи. Из предсказумого, но интересного и уже широко известного: рост южных корейцев на 9 см. выше, чем северных. У мужчин в Гонконге рост несколько выше, чем в остальном Китае, видимо, тоже из-за разницы в социально-экономическом развитии. Плюс, у городских мужчин в Китае рост почти на 4 см. выше, чем у сельских. Интересно, в России на глаз есть разница в росте между горожанами и селянами? Из того, что удивило: ниже ожидамоего рост канандцев, и несколько выше ожидамого у испанцев .
Еще интересно было бы сделать подобную карту для субъектов федерации России. Какие есть предположения о лидерах и аутсайдерах? Кавказцы должны быть ниже русских, но коренные народы Сибири, скорее всего, еще ниже. Поэтому я бы не удивился, если бы самый низкий рост был где-нибудь на Чукотке, в Бурятии или в Якутии. А самые высокие может быть в Москве или Питере, ведь рост еще и зависит от достатка, питания и т.д.
